It's a perfect way to start 2008
What I love about my family, a "tribute" to them.......
Hubby.....His patience with me, and the kids. He has a way of always making things "ok" even during the difficult moments. I also love his eyes, and his smile, his passion for his career, his honesty and ethics in business, his loyalty and faithfulness to me, his work ethic, his sensitivity to other people, his ability to rarely complain, his careful attention to detail in all he does, the time he spends with all of us, his love of twizzlers and coke/pepsi, how he loves 99% of the meals I make, how he loves me, our cups of coffee together, his thoughful gifts he gives at Christmas, his passion for baseball and sports in general, his love for his parents and extended family, his eyes, his generosity, and his faithfulness and love for God.
Daughter 1--Her genuine self-giving spirit, her special heart for others, her playfulness and fun-loving attitude about life, the way she makes everything "an event", her care and concern for her brother and sister, her responsible attitude, and helpfulness around the house, her love for art, drama and books, the great meals she makes (especially Grandma's mac and cheese), the fantastic artwork, the love for her friends, her love for cream of broccoli soup, her pretty eyes, her beautiful singing voice, her sensitivity towards others, her love of animals (cats, turtles, penguins), her special hugs, her love of home, her friendship, her love for missions and her love for God.
Son 1--His eyes and smile that brighten the whole room, his sweet sensitive spirit, his love for animals (real and stuffed), his deep questions about the world around him, his love for science and creating things, his keen eye for backyard birds, his special concern for younger children, his love for grandparents, his love for wrestling with Dad, how he loves to be home, his ability to do flips on the trampoline, his love of games, his hugs (like a teddy bear), his crazy love for pickles and mustard (:, his love of space, his concern for hurting people in our church, especially those who are very sick, and his love for God.
Daughter 2--Her beautiful smile and hugs for her family, her care and concern for others, her love for her kitty cat, her love of dolls, her special love of reading, her ability to entertain herself all the time, her love for her grandparents, aunts and uncles, her hard working attitude and persistence and effort in all she does, her forgiving spirit, her love of pink, her love of clothes, her loyalty to her best friend S., her love for macaroni and cheese and my banana bread, her physical strength and ability to run fast, her sweet nature, her eyes, her kisses and love for her family, her prayers, and her love for God.

How sweet! I love that you could find such individual things about each of them. You guys are a great family and you and K are doing a really good job with those kids. And you are right, this is a perfect way to set the tone for the whole year!
