Cute Girl Math Games!

Homeschooling sometimes feels like I'm going "back to school" all over again. Honestly, there are days I'd like to just say "let's go to the mall today.....forget your school work!". Ho hum, that's life. It's a Monday and we're back at it again. And math seems to be the main priority. Although my 8th and 6th grader are working through their books, and are being diligent with their math work, my 4th grader needs soooo much one on one attention with her math. It can be draining. Finding new, creative ways to teach multiplication gets very old after a while....flashcards, multiplication bingo, online games. You name it, we've done it. Here's a very creative site we found, and it has a couple of "girl" math games. So if you have a girl that needs some supplemental activities with her math (or mom just needs a BREAK), check it out. http://www.multiplication.com/ Go to "games", and scroll down until you see "Math Models". Another one is called "the knight and the princess. Just so you know, there are a ton of games on this site, something for every math student. Happy Mathtime!

Marking it for a certain little LadyBug I know, right now! Still our hardest topic and least favorite homework. THANK goodness for a patient and compassionate big brother who GETS it and can teach it to her, though :)
