In Like a Lion!

Hey everybody! Snowy days make for lots of fun and lots of relaxation, too. Personally, I think God gives us "snow days" to just take a break from life. Picasso's school was closed for two days, and we spent time playing games, watching t.v., and of course, drinking hot cocoa (or coffee, in my case). There was at least 8" on the ground, and more in areas of drifting. The roads were impassable until the plows came by (late afternoon), and it's the most snow the kids remember. I was in the middle of a terrible cold, so I coughed, sneezed, and blew, while the rest of the family figured out what to eat, and finished chores so they could go out and play. Picasso and Princess made a snowman while Scout went down the street to play football in the snow with a bunch of neighborhood boys. Tackle football in the snow was much less painful, except Scout reported he got a mouthful of snow several times. I guess he had an incredible time with his friends, because he didn't even complain one bit about his frozen feet and frostbitten hands. I went out for two minutes to take a picture of the girls, and it was too cold for me! It got up to a whopping 18 degrees yesterday, and all the way up to 32 today. March certainly did come in like a lion, and the groundhog was right....6 more weeks of winter.

Hey there! So sorry to hear you are still fighting that cold. Ugh. Been a tough winter for both our gang's huh?!

We had Monday off, and spent the day playing around the computer and Wii, touching up the living room trim, hanging curtains, and chillin' out. It was NECESSARY! You are so right about the gift of the snow day! Since the last time we had a snow day, there wasn't really much snow and three of us were sick.

You're not allowed to have a cold anymore... that's it. Hey, where do you go sledding -- would you be able to share privately with me? Have a great one.
