Monday, Monday
It sure feels like a Monday morning....I can't remember anything, I need more coffee, and I haven't had that "I feel awake" feeling yet. I wonder if it will come. Part of the Monday blues is because I just returned from an incredible weekend at the beach, scrapbooking! 5 friends and myself scrapbooked for 2 days (and part of some nights), with no interruptions, schedules, or obligations. One friend's hubby even took her cell phone away so she could enjoy herself in peace. Another friend shared her plethora of paper with all of us, and another friend brought the movie "the ultimate gift". I brought B and J's chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and ate the whole darn pint. SO, relaxed as I may be, with good memories and 40 pages of work done, I still have to get back into life, and obviously work off that pint of ice cream. It was wonderful to get away, and I have a lot to show for it, but now it's time to dig into homeschooling, cooking, and cleaning again.

Sounds like fun. The ice cream part, especially :) I'm impressed at how many pages you did - that sounds like a lot!
Just got home from New England, spent the weekend with my mom's family honoring my grandma for her 90th. What a sweet, sweet time. And Li'l Empress travels like a pro - such a great kid :) Even crowded, the kids all did great in the van for the long trip both ways.
It does sound like you all had a blast. Wish I could get into that scrapbooking stuff, but I just can't. Glad you like it and had fun.
