S'mores
S'mores are aptly named. We went camping for a few days during the kids Spring break, and had a great time together, and with our friends who camped next to us. And of course, we broke out the S'mores. Mmmm...I couldn't get enough of the gooey, sugary, chocolatey sandwiches. But I restrained myself, and had only two...plus an extra marshmallow. Camping is a synonym for S'mores. There's just something about it that makes me want more! It's the Simple Living we don't do anywhere else. Although there were the occasional cell phone calls and one trip to the pharmacy for a finger splint and forgotten medicine (Picasso's finger got smashed in a door, and she forgot her newly prescribed meds), it was the relaxing, simple days that we enjoyed the most. 15 fish caught...campfires...marshmallows eaten...kayaks borrowed for a trip down the river...playgrounds used from sunup to sundown...book finished...schedules forgotten...cards played...bikes ridden...naps taken...Makes me want some more! Princess wasn't home more than a few hours and she said "I miss camping!" But for now, we're back to reality, the kids back to school, and me back to laundry, real meals and teaching. It was great while it lasted, and just like the S'mores I enjoyed it while it lasted and will savor the sweet memories....and look forward to more this summer.

Well. I like chocolate and marshmallow. I like cooking out over a campfire or grill. That's it for me. Partial camper. Like in Mom and Dad's RV would work for me. Hot shower, hot water, microwave and satellite tv. Oh, and AC for those hot muggy days ;) I'm a wimp, I know.
