We ended up with a new kitty this past weekend. My mother-in-law decided to drop by and "show us" a kitten she was taking to the pet store. She knows how much we love our cats. We lost two cats this past year, and gained one. Penny needed a friend, and this new kitty has a wonderful temperament, so we ended up keeping her! "Ginger" is adorable, and now the kids aren't fighting over one pet. She's fitting in just fine her, and the second best part (besides her cuteness) is that she already uses the litter box, and doesn't have to be trained. My husband's aunt took good care of Ginger and her siblings until they were ready to be given away. There was another one to choose from, but he was a little too feisty for us. This one is a cuddler, and acts like she's known us for weeks. Ginger is the perfect addition to our clan!

Yes, Jingle and Bell passed away, but we still have Penny, and now Ginger.
